Reflection
1.What about your project was most successful? Explain.
I felt that my logo and the packaging was quite a success. I liked how the logo looks sleek and professional. It’s bold, prominent and feminine. It goes very well with the black shoe box, professional and eye-catching.
2. What about your project was least successful? Explain.
I felt that I could have used more time to make a better/ professional infomercial. It wasn’t my best and I’m not satisfied with my work. I still feel that I could have done better than what I‘ve submitted. If had more time, I’d have tried to make it better.
3. How did you manage your time during the project?
Due to certain contests, I wasn’t able to do much work in class. But I kept a good schedule and I did my work to the best of my abilities. I did much of the work at home and I was able to successfully complete my work in time.
4. What would you change about your work?
If given a second trial, I would probably go for an even “dumber” product so that the possibilities of making the useless product “attractive” would be much higher.
5. What mark do you believe you have earned on the project? Explain.
I’ve completed every aspect of my project so I feel that I would get a mark well above 90%.

Mr. Singh's Bangras
The UK-based The Partners created an unforgettable way of packaging Mr. Singh's gourmet Indian sausages. Due to its unique packaging design, it is proclaimed
as “the world’s first branded sausages.” Each sausage is uniquely printed with
a henna design using edible ink. Instead of creating a unique packaging, each
sausage has its own unique design; its own unique skin.
The reason why I think this particular brain
stands out is because of its unique way of stating the originality of the
recipe. As the saying goes,” A picture
is worth a thousand words”, the first image portrays a strong meaning. It
portrays a beautifully decorated hand of an Indian lady, plus freshly made
sausages results in the formation of this unique set of sausages. This, I feel
is a very great branding technique as it;s eye catching. There are chances that
people might purchase this product due to their curiosity. When it comes to the
logo, there are both positive and negative attributes. Let’s start with the
positive attributes about this
logo. The font and the style is quite
simple and straightforward. The combination of yellow and pink, go well with
the dark background. The logo suits the packaging of the sausages. Though
simple, it’s strikingly bold and prominent. Just like its positive attributes , there are
many negative attributes as well. As I
mentioned before the logo is quite simple. This could be attractive but at time
being too simple could degrade the whole character of the packaging. So I feel
it’s necessary to “spice” up the logo.
NYC Spaghetti
The spaghetti sits on a 3d model of the Chrysler building that was
modelled on CAD by Ben Thorpe. This is one of the best designs so far. Designed
by a student, this packaging became so popular within a few days. This brand
has comparatively more positive attributes than negative attributes. The
packaging g is professional and conveys that message throughout. The product is
packed in a white cuboidal box and has a color range of black and white and
grey. This is quite attractive and eye catching. The logo is professional and prominent. The spaghetti is shaped like the Chryslar
building and this is the most creative part of this product. The packaging of
this brand is successful because of the very same reason. Finding negative
attributes for this particular brand is quite difficult. It has its unique
style and it seems to be doing perfectly well.
Coca Cola
In my personal opinion Coca Cola has one of the best packaging techniques! Its unique logo is recognizable with a mere curve of the word, ‘Coca-Cola’. They keep themselves up to trend. They have a variety of packaging techniques and a few of them are displayed in the picture. It’s creative and stylish in its own way. The font goes well with the name “Coca Cola” It perfectly fits together and it’s eye catching. I couldn’t possibly come up with any negative attributes about its logo and packaging. It’s a perfect combo of color, font and packaging strategies.
