Market Demographic & Colour Scheme

As ‘Idesta’ is a product that can only be worn by females, hence this product is mainly targeted for urban professional females between the ages of 20-40. It’s for those women who have a lot of responsibilities bestowed upon them and thus having no time to look after their home. This is also influenced by their interest in personal appearance, focusing on money rather than quality and growing disposable income.  The product is highly priced competitively in the prestige category as we focus more on the quality and the effectiveness.

Colour Scheme
Colors are no doubt the heart and soul of any design. If you could add just one thing to a design that would make it more prominent and beautiful, you’d add color. Choosing a good color combination is an art itself and while working on this summative it was  given its fair share of trial and error runs in order to determine the best one for a particular design. For my brand ‘Idesta’ I would like to go with the traditional black white and grey color scheme. A metallic color would be very appealing for this product. It would suggest a kind of luxurious product and that is something I would want to portray through this.

Depending on the packaging I would have different styles of the logo. Using dull colors could look boring and unattractive. Adding shades of violet could make the logo feminine and bold. Contrasting colors are another way to go.
